Planet U-235 (2015)
In the conclusion of Walter Miller’s A Canticle for Leibowitz, select citizens of Earth are able to evacuate the planet at the onset of a nuclear holocaust. Drifting through the solar system for decades, the survivors’ decedents hope to return to a habitable planet. An investigative team returned to Earth assigned to evaluate the planet’s viability for human life. These images were the only remnants of the investigation.
