Cooper Giegerich's work straddles art and science. She focues on the tensions between macro and microcosms, growth and destruction. She was born (1993) and raised in Beltsville, Maryland. She received her BA in Fine Art at William Smith College and her MFA from the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa.
